Prof. Jonathan Lawrence, Dr. Colin Dowding, Dr. David Waugh and Jonathan Griffiths have travelled to Los Angeles, CA, USA to present some of their current research at ICALEO 2012 (The International Congress on Lasers and Electro-Optics). The conference has a 30 year which has a history where researchers and end-users meet to review the state-of-the art in laser materials processing and predict where the future will lead. From its inception, ICALEO has been devoted to the field of laser materials processing and is viewed as the premier source of technical information in the field.
In addition to this, the Laser and Photonics Engineering Group will be meeting with current and potential industrial collaborators to discuss crucial industry-led research.
