The University of Lincoln’s own Dr Colin Dowding, Associate Lecturer Dalila Avdic and Research Assistant Alexander Borman, will be showcasing the purpose built robot from SPARK! Festival at this year’s Lincolnshire Show.
The Lincolnshire Show is one of the last remaining agricultural events in the country and will take place at the Lincolnshire Showground on 21st / 22nd June. Robin Battle, president of the Lincolnshire Agricultural society said: “The Show is a unique opportunity for everyone in the foremost farming county to meet, both socially and to do business. It provides a shop window on farming and the countryside for the wider public including children.”
The University’s robot exhibit was extremely well received at SPARK! Festival at Lincoln Cathedral recently, and this is one of many legacy events in which the School of Engineering, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, can re-engage with those who have “met” the robot before.
