School of Engineering to Celebrate #INWED18 with Week-Long Event

In recognition of International Women in Engineering Day 2018 (23rd June), the School of Engineering, University of Lincoln, will be hosting a week long series of events to celebrate and support women and girls in STEM.

Commencing Monday 18th June, the week will begin with a 2-day session for GCSE students to take part in computer aided engineering; students will design a 2D bracket, which they will use to compete against rival designs.

During Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June, members of the School of Engineering will be exhibiting its robots at the famous Lincolnshire Show at stands 5-10a.

Lastly, on Thursday 21st June, Wendy Sadler MBE will be joining us in the Isaac Newton Building to deliver her exciting public lecture, ‘The XX Factor; covering 6 amazing women in STEM’.
